Our PTA - Friends of John Ruskin

Sensory walls

One of our ongoing campaigns is to raise money for sensory walls in the small and big playgrounds.

For many children playtime can be an incredibly overwhelming and over stimulating time, and with record numbers of children attending with additional needs there is a huge need for an alternative safe space for those who struggle to cope and enjoy traditional playtime. This will make a huge difference to being able to ensure happiness and engagement of all children during their recreational time.

We would be very grateful to any parents who have links to businesses or to organisations who could share the Go Fund Me link:

ABOUT OUR PTA

The role of the PTA is to bring together parents, teachers and sponsors to raise funds and to have fun doing it! With our fundraising we aim to enrich our children’s education by providing valuable equipment, books and materials, and undertaking projects to enhance the building and facilities of the school. In addition, the PTA fund Christmas parties, school trips and other treats. We do this by organising a variety of fundraising activities.

We welcome anyone who has time, skills and talents to offer, or can help in any way with our fundraising activities.
